Display banner advertising
Posted on
Display banners:
- are premium banner advertising slots
- have high impact across every page of the website, including the Home page
- are randomised adverts to keep them fresh
- advertisers have complete flexibility over their artwork design.
How it works:
- there are three display banner advert slots on every web page
- on standard pages, adverts appear in the right-hand side of the page − on the Home pages, adverts appear in the main body of the page as a 'from our sponsors' block
- at each page view, three banners are randomly selected for display from a 'pot' of display adverts
- the 'pot' is limited to a maximum of eight display adverts from different companies
- banners may appear in any of the slots on the page, or may not appear at all on a particular page view.
